Course Description

These programmes are suitable for any small business owner, or the self-employed, wishing to explore this fast-growing area of business.

Whether you have experience or not, this course is aimed at giving you the confidence to grow your media skills and abilities.

• Our range of 1-day courses are designed to enable you to gain further knowledge and skills within the area of Social Media Marketing.
• Our courses will provide you with up-to-date techniques and tools you need to create successful social media marketing plans.
• The course will consist of face to face theory and practical based sessions. Each session will utilise and build upon the knowledge used in the previous session.

The course will run at Harrogate College. Due to the ongoing construction for our new build, unfortunately, there is no parking at the college. However, If you are a blue badge holder, please contact the college directly. 

The programme runs 10.00-16.00 and will cover:

• Introductions to classmates and their social media experiences;
• Understand why and how businesses use social media;
• Learn how to set up and optimize your social media pages;
• Workshop time to set up your own social media page;
• Identify and create social media goals;
• Learn how to create and post content on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram;
• Workshop time to brainstorm, create, and practice posting content onto your page.
