Course Description

This course is an introduction to textiles aimed at beginners.

You will discover through a series of practical exercises how to transform drawings into exciting textile designs.

You will experiment with colour, repeat pattern and working directly onto fabric as well as textile printing techniques developing your own prints.

You will then arrive at a final portfolio of your work made during the course.

This course is designed to be creative with no previous experience necessary.

By the end of the 10 weeks, your portfolio should contain a collection of printed and developed textile samples, and you will have explored your own ideas to gain practical experience to develop beyond the course.

This 10 week course runs one evening per week on Thursday evenings from 6pm.
