Our large format printing service helps creative arts students bring ideas to life. From bold posters and exhibition prints to portfolios and display boards, we produce vibrant colour, sharp detail, and high-quality finishes across a range of materials.

Printing
After purchasing your prints, bring your files on a USB to Mabgate Art Studios, or send them via WeTransfer to EquipmentHireHE@ucleeds.ac.uk with your receipt.
Files must be submitted by Tuesday, 8am for printing that week.
Please ensure your work is correctly sized and formatted—unsuitable files will not be printed.
Accepted formats: JPEG / TIFF

Collection
You’ll be notified when your prints are ready. Please confirm with technical staff before collecting.

Prices
All printing is offered at-cost for students. Prices are correct as of January 2026 and may be subject to change.

1. Textured Polyester Canvas 280gsm

This affordable polyester wide format 260gsm, 100% polyester inkjet canvas has a bright white matte with a textured finish giving it look and feel of a more traditional canvas print. Used mainly for the low-cost printing of stretched canvas photo prints, this polyester inkjet canvas is the ideal choice for art reproduction, commercial & home décor, Hotels, gifts, High Street print shops, on-line print-on-demand, museums and galleries and studio photography.

A matte, bright white, medium textured 100% polyester 260gsm inkjet canvas,l that is ideal for low-cost printing of stretched photo canvas and artworks using Colourbyte stretcher bars. Strong, yet easy to stretch and fold without cracking. Can be lacquered or varnished.

3. Bright White Photo Canvas 360gsm

A matte, bright white, 100% cotton inkjet 360gsm canvas,  which is completely seedless for near perfect photographic reproductions. Easy to stretch and fold with excellent crack resistance. It offers a wide colour gamut and good water resistance with pigment inks, so can be protected with a water-based varnish.

The coating of this bright matte white, cotton rich 330gsm achieves a wide colour gamut and good water resistance with pigment inks, and therefore it can be protected with a water-based varnish. For commercial printers and print shop owners whose customers prefer real canvas, this could be for you. With a quality look and feel at an affordable price makes this ideal for users needing a more authentic looking canvas than polyester. Great for photo reproductions as it's completely seedless and has a good canvas texture with excellent crack resistance.
