This 10 week course runs on a Wednesday evening from 6-8:30pm at Quarry Hill Campus in Leeds city centre.

Course Description

This course teaches a variety of digital and traditional drawing techniques and software.

This will cover a range of artistic genres such as illustration, portraits, and still life.

You will use graphics tablets and software for the digital techniques and a range of drawing mediums and materials and techniques for the traditional drawing techniques.

 

Using scale, light, proportions in drawing

Develop digital and traditional drawing techniques

Develop observational skills

Using graphics tablets and software to develop digital drawing skills

 

The skills developed on this course will give you a grounding in digital and traditional drawing, giving you greater creative freedom when drawing portraits, still life or from your imagination.

You will gain an understanding of digital techniques that will open doors to greater expression of ideas and also new approaches to creating artwork through the benefits of using dedicated software applications.
